NeverSafe was first released as '13'. NeverSafe has been re-written and edited.

President Bob Montgomery is faced with vicious and repeated terrorists attacks on American soil by a group of dedicated terrorists who have been living among us for over thirty years. They have been slowly weaving themselves into the fabric of our society. They are your next door neighbor, your doctor, your friend, but you would never know it.

The attacks seemingly get worse by the day and after thousands of American citizens are killed, President Bob Montgomery finally begins to fight the terrorists on their terms. He uses his powers as the Comander In Chief to use the strongest and most advanced military on the planet to defeat the terrorists in America. But he doesen't stop there. He then goes on to solve many of the other problems facing the United States. He proves once and for all that the United States really is The Superpower of the world.

NEVERSAFE eBook Robert J Thomas

As a fan of Thomas's Jess Williams series I had to read Neversafe, a terrorist thriller, to see how well he could cross into other genres and has proven to be a proficient writer in this area quite well. A novel that is a mix of history, fact, speculation, and conspiracy theory that has a president reminiscent of John F Kennedy during the Cuban Missile Crisis going against America's enemies in response to repeated terrorist attacks of our country. All of the scenarios played out in this novel are all too real, have happened or can happen at any give moment. The author has stated a mean fact that America is just not prepared to face this reality and the poor efforts we have made to prevent something of this nature only inconveniences its citizens not the terrorist. Outlaw guns and then only outlaws will have guns is as real as the fact that drugs still come into this country not by pounds but tons in spite of patrols, walls, DEA etc. Weapons (nukes included) can be brought into our country as well as the writer points out. Terrorists can hop the boarder as easily as the average Mexican national looking for a job. A very scary and thought provoking novel and a must read.

NEVERSAFE eBook Robert J Thomas Reviews

Well to my gears delight I have to say this was the authors very best reads!!!

I was so surprised that I could not put it down. I feel this could be what the world is headed for, just not the goverment the one doing it.

If your looking for a book that is a great read then try this one. I hope there is a sequel to this, would be interesting. I would buy it !!
Wow, what a book. I was literally on the edge of my seat reading this book. And once the plot really took off I couldn't put it down. Pretty much scared the heck out of me, because what Robert Thomas wrote about is happening today and that is scary. Now if we could just elect a president like the character Bob Montgomery, we could get this country back on track.
This book takes current events, and moves them along to a scary, plausible
outcome with terrorists embedded in communities throughout the country.
It was interesting to see if the author was going to have the President be
a Chamberlain, who didn't stand firm against aggression, or a Churchill, who
did. I can recommend this book, if you are looking for a book to entertain
as it makes you think about current events.
Oh, this is one of the BEST novels I have read in a long time. I needed a change of "venue" in my reading and I LOVE Mr. Thomas' Jess Williams series, so I thought I would check this out. I could NOT put it down. It's very current to today's climate and will keep you in suspense throughout the book. If you want a good read, something that will leave you thinking, this is the book for you.
I was drawn to this book by the reviews already posted before I noticed that the author is Robert J. Thomas. Mr. Thomas has written many great western books featuring Bounty Hunter Jess Williams. Great stories and fun to read.
NeverSafe is a tale that could become true if our country doesn't correct the course it's currently following. It tells of terrorist cells having been established long ago and suddenly becoming active in truly terror filled ways. The president has recently taken office after a spendthrift socialist president who has spent the country into debt greater than we can ever pay. The former president also was a wimp in his dealings with foreign powers. This all set the stage for disaster in this story. How does the new president handle this mess?
Read the book, I think you'll be glad that you did.
Excellent, Mr. Thomas!
RJT has written a novel of the US as it is attacked by terrorists who had been in placed for 20+ years. The terrorists attacked 13 major cities with shootings, poisonings, explosions, and nerve two. Their attack decimated
13 cities. The President reacted to these assaults like I would expect any President to react. He took the war to them in their own homelands. RJT has presented a plan of defense for the US. Some will feel it's to much and others not enough, but in this instance RJT manages to ride the fence right in the middle. The President accomplishes the same objectives. Even when it morally bothers him he still realizes he needs to be ruthless. This is an excellent read for the genre.....ER
The book's plot was premised on something that I have often considered what if a country were attacked by those who were in it for the long game ? Terrorists (or similar) who were not part of an existing group, who had spent years insinuating themselves into the local landscape, planning and preparing ...

The first part of the book deals with the attack and the devastating consequences. The population of the USA are sent reeling, the authorities - not knowing who is attacking and where the next attack will be - are helpless ... to my mind this part of the book was very believable, to the extent of being scary.

Why then the three stars ?

The second part of the book, where the President grows a backbone and - using ultra-secret technology - manages to defeat the attackers with minimal fuss was (to my mind) a cop-out. A good cop-out, but a cop-out none the less.

Still, overall, this book is a very good read that I can recommend to all.
